This tasty Dahl in a Dash recipe-in-a-jar is so quick and easy to make!

In our household it is the perfect choice when you havent planned dinner but want something tasty, nourishing and easy to make, With simple to make dishes like this you don't need to be eating the same frozen pizza or overly packaged microwave meals. You can add your choice of veggies, have it as a soup or as a more traditional curry with rice.

Serves 2-4 people, depends how hungry they are.


Split Red Lentils*, Yellow Split Peas*, Garlic Powder, Turmeric, Sweet Paprika, Cumin, Ground Black Pepper, Sea Salt. *: Certified Organic

How to Use

You will also need:

  • 1 Tbsp Coconut Oil or Ghee
  • 4 Chopped Roma Tomatoes
  • 1 Chopped Onion
  • 3 Cups of water or stock of your choice
  • Fresh Coriander to top

  • Instructions:

  • Melt Coconut Oil in a large pot and sauté the onion and tomatoes until soft.
  • Add contents of the jar and stir for 2 minutes.
  • Pour in 3 cups of water or stock and bring to the boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for approx. 20 minutes or until cooked.
  • Serve with steamed rice and fresh coriander.

    Serves 2-4 people.

    Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.

    Up to 3 months when stored as above.
