Simple Make-it-Yourself Oat Milk

The amazing Alex (aka @ballerina_bites) shares her Oat Milk recipe! Oat Milk is a great plant-based alternative to regular milk, and perfect for those that are allergic to nuts and can't have almond millk. It only requires a few simple (and cheap) ingredients. Enjoy!
Ingredients

1 cup rolled oats (use Gluten Free oats to make this if you like) 🌱
3 medjool dates, pitted (optional) 🌱
Pinch of salt 🌱
3 cups filtered water
Method
- Combine oats, medjool dates, salt and water in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour milk through a nut milk bag or cheese cloth (for oat mylk not 100% necessary).
- Store in an air tight container in the refrigerator for up to 4-5 days.
- Also, feel free to experiment and flavour your mylk with cacao powder, vanilla, cinnamon, cardamom, coffee, matcha, coconut...we could go on!
